The average price there is around or under $10
Good food, good price. It's just a little crammed in there, specially when ppl. are lined up inside waiting for the table. Overall, a good restaurant if you're in the neighborhood.
Small restaurant with great food and service.Ordered dry vermicelli noodle & soup noodle, asked for cooked bean sprouts & extra fish sauce vinegar, waitress willing to accommodated our request & with smile on face. One of my favorite restaurants.
The baguette and spring roll was great but the cleanliness is not that good. I got a table that was cleaned and the server just brush the food scrap on the floor. I almost left at that point. If city health service see that, they will be fined or forced to close for a few days. Cleanliness isn't something you can cut corners on. The food was great and I won't deny that.
Good food and portions.
One of the best chicken dishes I have had. Very tender and moist. Vermicelli bún.
Delicious food! I've enjoyed the lemongrass chicken with rice and baguettes before. We loved the baguettes (#3, #4, #5 which were the lemongrass pork, minced pork patty and lemongrass chicken) which were tasty as takeout.
Currently the most authentic Broths of Vancouver pho restaurants.
Good food, quite affordable. The small soup was enough for me and just over $8. Seems to be family run, maybe a bit shorthanded. We waited for service but the people were friendly. Much cleaner than the other phó place down the road.
Excellent experience. Possibly the best Vermicelli I've had in Vancouver, spring roll is perfect, peanut sauce in pho was phenomenal.
Been a while, but still remember the Disastrous experience there. I ordered the vermicelli with chicken. I was eating and eating, but then there was a freaking dental floss in my noodles. Did you really think I wouldn’t be able to find it out... I really don’t get how tf a piece of dental floss could be inside of the food. Like how do you even make that kind of mistake?? This is an absolute deceiving service of them. Of course they made me a new one, but they had no ‘official’ or sincere apology. Not complaining much, but they still made me pay the full prize for the food. Absolute garbage like experience with this place, never been here again after that. I’ve been telling this story to anyone around me who’s tryna go there. So whatever they are now, I don’t trust them.
Delicious Vietnamese food in a cozy setting. Owners are very friendly and polite. #28 is my go-to.
Poor customer experience. Hot and noisy place. The old lady is taking the orders is not friendly. She forgot to include a spoon with the soup we ordered...
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver. Always friendly service and delicious Pho.
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Reasonable price. I recommend.
Strongly recommend this one
Grilled Beef with rice and salad - Beef was a bit too tough. I had a hard time with it and had to use my hands. The flavour was decent though. It's on the sweet side which I like. Price was affordable.Server was friendly and happy whenever she interacted with us. She refilled my tea once without asking. There was no lineup at 6pm on a Wednesday. Can go to Nana's for dessert afterwards =9.
The Banh Mi was quite good. The broth in the Fish Pho was very flavourful.
I went there with my family last Week. There were only four tables occupied with customers including us. We ordered 4 noodle soups as we were in a hurry. 20 minutes later the table next to us who came 5 minutes late than us were served and then another table were served who came even later. After 30 minutes waiting, we asked the waiter why our order are still not ready and when the waiter talked to the cook, the cook seems didn't know our order. That's OK we thought somebody made a mistake. But after another 10 minutes I couldn't see the cook working there anymore. During this time the waiter didn't even apologize to us and let us know how long our order could be ready. We couldn't put up with this anymore and walked away. We ended up without supper that evening. By the way, there were no smile on the face of the waiter. They are cool!!
Not a bad spot to stop by if you're in the neighborhood. The food is good, not so much for service.
Best pho place I've been to in a while. Service was good, pho and sandwiches were all great. There was nothing I disliked overall. Will come again whenever I'm feeling pho.
This is the worst restaurant in Vancouver. The staff provides terrible service especially the old and short lady. Today, I took out Vietnamese noodles and vermicelli. The restaurant is dishonest. There was not on the menu that only large size of rice noodle can order take-out, but the waitress with a very annoying voice said that small size noodles cannot be taken out. Even though the service was so bad, I did not consider posting. However, the food was so terrible, which made me post the review of this restaurant. The broth of noodles is too salty and the amount of meat seems to be less than small. The vermicelli contained only about one tablespoon of vegetables and the total amount of food was less than two-thirds of the containers. I will never go back to here again.
I’d always been curious of this place however never managed to find the time to check it out but I’m super glad I finally did. My friends and I were greeted nicely by the staff as soon as we entered and they were pleasant the entire time. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and it was nice to know this place is accommodating of different diets and restrictions. She thoroughly explained a few dishes on the menu to me which was much appreciated. Food was delish and at a very fair price! I’ll be coming back for sure.
If you get pho, get it with the sate. It makes the broth pleasantly spicy and thickens it slightly. I haven't found a place that does it better than Baoguette.
Restaurant service is good, but food taste isn't good.
Favourite bahn mi bread and pho place. The bread is made well. Everything tastes good. It is a lot of food.
The special crab and shrimp paste noodle is pretty good. Recommend if you want some hot food.
Prompt service, decent prices, good location, somewhat mediocre food. I had the beef vermicelli bowl, the spring roll was tasty but the beef wasn't that great. I might come back to try the pho, and will amend my review accordingly.
We had a quick bite during the slower time in the afternoon. The beef pho broth was very good. I found the service and prices very reasonable. The restaurant is small and the seating is tight.
I came in to get the house special sandwich... And it was the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread, the combination of vegetables with the meat. The pate was so flavourful. There's lots of different plate specials too that I'll have to try but I'm definitely coming back for this sandwich. It's only $6.50!
My friend and I came here on a not really busy day. After we ordered like 10 seconds, I wanted to change my mind. I even went to the counter to change the order myself, but the young female waitress made a super ANNOYED face at me. I don't expect superb customer service at this place but please at least have some basic manners? The food is so so but this attitude to serve your customer is plainly rude. We also have to wait super long for such a dish. Won't come back and no wonder why none of my friends told me they would eat here again. Learn to treat your customer. Peace.
Came in during a bust service time and staff was disorganised at seating guests. Food was good although the cleanliness of the kitchen could be drastically improved.
Was pretty rude for asking a tip?! After I paid cashiers says I have to pay the tip which is 10%. I have never seen server asking for a tip. And this not a must. Not everyone is in the mood, or available for the tips. But they shouldn't be asking for it.
I would like to have a lunch membership at this place. The bread on their baguettes is perfect french bread. The service is here is busy-busy and their kitchen turns the orders around in record time. Well you certainly have your options in the Kerrisdale corridor but this place, is the only place I would need a membership.
One of my favourite pho spots in the lower mainland. We frequented the downtown location before it closed, but this location is just as good.
Warm place with warm people! I had the vegetarian Banh Mi which was a tasteful delight. My friend had the vegetarian Pho said that it was really good!
If you like your subs more chewy and not razor sharp like some of the other places then this is the place for you!On the higher price side (I guess rent is expensive) and the meat was slightly too overcooked.
Really happy with this pho restaurant. I have been going for a long time and it is always consistent. The baguette sandwiches are very good and the pho is always excellent. Service is fine, and friendly. It is affordable quick and pretty good quality. I will continue to go here often.
Good pho is hard to get right consistently. Honestly some of my favorite in city. Always busy but that means people love it too.
The food was tasty. However be warned that a walk to the bathroom past the kitchen offers a terrifying view of where your food is cooked. Bathrooms were filthy as well.
Love love love this place. I always get the rare beef pho and the broth is always perfect. Avocado smoothie is good too.
Nothing special, to be frank. Chicken wings were clearly not fresh. Vermicelli noodles seemed rubbery and vegetables were limp and tasteless. Shrimp salad rolls were very good as was homemade peanut sauce. Baguette sandwiches are all very good as well.
Large portions at a good price. The service was accommodating for our large group. Debit or cash only.
Great staff and more incredible food! A special gem of a restaurant.
One of my favorite phos in town. Great salad rolls and ice coffee. Big fan of the satay pho. Update: Pho does seem to have gone downhill a bit. Very salty.
The House Special Bahn Mi was very flavorful and fresh. The service was average and the atmosphere itself somewhat left me with a similar feeling. Their house tea was nicely flavored. They have a good selection of items and definitely know quality ingredients vietnamese flavors.
Delicious! The sandwiches is awesome. Slightly slow service but can’t really complain because it’s usually one person. The basil is nice and fresh and special soups are spectacular. The regular beef noodle soup is mediocre. I would suggest not ordering the regular pho. The spring rolls are sometimes overly fried.
Ordered their banh mi chicken. The sub was quite small and the flavour was average. Nothing too special.
Great food, lousy service... There's one particular server there that seems to have a stick up her b*tt every time we've been there. She asks if we're ready to order by saying "yes?" She has a major case of RBF and looks like she doesn't want to be there. I will not go back unless someone offered to pay OR out of desperation because all restaurants are closed in Kerrisdale (including McDonald's). It's VERY sad that one person can ruin the restaurant for this otherwise good restaurant. I advice the owners to take serious consideration on this individuals involvement in the restaurant.
Really tasty banh mi. You're looking for a sandwich in this area, definitely stop by!
A nice Vietnamese place with delicious Pho and more. Place is a bit crowded, but food is nice.
